Traditional Irish Music Sessions

Join us on most Thursdays during the year from Sept to June where you can play in an informal setting in Hickey’s, along with talented musicians and those who are learning to play. This is open to all, including newcomers. Occasional sessions are led by our talented in-house teachers to help improve your style.

This is an informal setting where you are encouraged to play as a newcomer or seasoned musician. We encourage you to try new instruments and arrangements in a supportive, session-style atmosphere. There is a group of regular attendees, dedicated to keeping the traditional session alive. Bring your family and friends, as audience participation and appreciation is encouraged.
